Welcome to the online Conflict Resolution training! As a faculty member, preventing and managing conflicts that may occur with those you work with (students and colleagues) is a critical skill that, if mastered, can increase your productivity and the quality of your program(s). Conflict is inevitable when two or more people work together, most often caused by unclear or unstated expectations. When not addressed early on, conflict is magnified, creating major obstacles for all parties involved. The skills you will learn in this training will also serve as a foundation for experiences you will encounter throughout your career.

ResourcesThe course includes:

    - presentations from Michigan State University Faculty
    - video clips of conflict resolution scenarios
    - interactive activities
    - resources for managing conflict

A Very Important Course
"The information presented at the workshop is very important, and the methods and strategies are practical. I wish I had attended this workshop earlier in my program because I think some conflict would have been prevented!"
